Sunday Snippets

This week was a pretty standard week in the life of Nicole & Tyler.

He went to school and did MatchMatch work via his baby (MacBook).

I went to work 9-4:30 at Precision Concrete Cutting, Monday-Friday.

When 5/5:30 rolls around we are both usually at the gym getting some endorphines streaming through our systems. Then back home for dinner and a little together time. This week we had our sights set on watching all *3 seasons of Revenge before the next season airs on Sept. 30. WELL we blazed through season one and got finished on Tuesday or Wednesday I believe. (I was told by a friend that she thought there were 3 seasons so I didn’t question it) Well when we went to watch season 2…I could NOT find it anywhere!? So I used my expert investigating skills (google & wiki) to find out there is only 1 season and the next season airs on the 30th! So now the countdown for the season premiere begins….one week!

I used to think how lame is it to be so into a TV series….its TV. But guess what? Sometimes its just some good R&C (relax & cuddle for future reference) in front of a good show is what I like in my day šŸ™‚

Friday was great! A) We got our iPhone 5’s. SO sweet. I love Siri, she is my bff. And theĀ panoramicĀ pic taking is legit. Ā B) We went for sushi at Happy Sumo. VIP. Half off special sushi rolls. LOVE my life. It was delicious and we went with friends which always makes it a good time. (Matt & Lexi, Jeff & Victoria) Where Happy Sumo is located is at the Riverwoods Mall. The Mall was having a Chalk the Block festival so we walked around the mall after dinner for a bit then back to our place for some friend time šŸ™‚

Saturday woke up at 8. YES 8! No clue why I couldn’t go back to sleep either. Ty woke up then when I mentioned cleaning our house miraculously could fall back to sleep (I did help him stretch, which can relax you to help you sleep easier) SO I began my Saturday morning cleaning sesh. There is no feeling like having a clean house I have decided. It is this sense of accomplishment, feeling productive and liberating, all smashed into one! Then gym time. Dinner & Movie with Luke & Kristina and Matt & Lexi.

All in all it was a great week! I love the people I am blessed with in our lives, family, friends and all the great people in between šŸ™‚ I feel very blessed to be born into the time and country. I am trying to live by these new mottos:

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”

“You can sleep when you are dead”

“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.”

“You can’t fall if you don’t climb. But there’s no joy in living your whole life on the ground.”

Just reminding myself that each day is a blessing and not to get too repetitive & forget that I can live my life and set the path for what I want in life.
